Where we work
We offer environmental health grant writing assistance for community-based organizations, tribal organizations and tribes that are based in Washington state. Our goal is to help these groups build capacity to address environmental justice issues and effectively access environmental and energy funding to support that work.
We regularly host our Ideas-to-Action (I2A) Workshops to help groups advance their ideas into narratives that form the basis for future grant proposals. Contact us to learn more about our upcoming I2A Workshops!
Who we serve
Our work is supported by the Washington Climate Commitment Act. Our center focuses on working with Tribes, tribal organizations, and community organizations in overburdened communities where vulnerable populations face combined, multiple environmental harms and health impacts, ensuring that those people most impacted by pollution experience a healthier environment.
We helped 30 groups in 2025 with environmental justice grant writing activities, of which, 29 are in overburdened communities.
